I found a copy of the Christmas letter I sent out two years ago, and thought it was fun to look back. Hope you enjoy!
Dearest Friends,
After as exciting a year as 2002, who would have thought there would be anything to write about in 2003? But there is! We have had another wonderful and exciting year. Here are the highlights:
*January: When the year started, we were living in Kerrville, and Justin was driving a bread truck at 4:00 in the morning.
*April: Brock celebrated his first birthday!
*May: Brock finally learned to walk!
*June: Justin and Bobbi went on a weeklong vacation to beautiful Costa rica. We enjoyed swinging through jungle canopies with monkeys and iguanas, visiting friends from Justin's mission, and strolling along the beach during ropical rainstorms. It was fantastic!
*July: We moved from our small, cozy town to the big city of San Antonio. Justin turned in his bread truck and started dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Bobbi suffered mild morning sickness.
*October: Ultrasound showed that we are expecting twin boys due March 3rd! Justin experienced dentistry from the patient's perspective when he had four teeth pulled and got braces. Ouch!
*November: We moved for the third time in one year...this time into our very own home! It's a three bedroom one-story house in an older, established neighborhood just a few miles from the dental school. We love it!
*December: Justin is wrapping up his first semester of dental school. He's done remarkably well in all of his classes. We are very proud of him. Bobbi's stomach is HUGE. She's anxious to have the babies already. Brock has all of his baby teeth, and is learning to talk...and talk...and talk. He loves tractors, trucks, bicycles, cars and doggies. He loves his daddy most of all.
We are counting our blessings, and giving thanks for a wonderful year, and wonderful friends. We hope you are doing well, and enjoying the holiday season. Please know that we are thinking of you this Christmas.
Love,
the Johnsons
