Happy Holidays 2006!!!

Dear Family & Friends,

Merry Christmas!!! Hopefully you’ve had as great a year in 2006 as we have!!! And now I’m going to tell you all about the great things the Johnson family has done this year…



Justin turned 30 this year. That’s right.. He’s officially grown up now. But not to worry, he still enjoys playing video games, wrestling with his sons and chasing his brothers around the yard with an air-soft gun. Justin is halfway through his final year of dental school, and is excited to graduate this May!!! Most of Justin’s days are spent at school, fixing teeth and becoming an expert in dentistry! We had hoped to be able to announce our post-graduation plans in this newsletter. However, we’ll have to save that announcement for a later edition. We are still exploring our options and waiting for the best possible opportunity to present itself.

Justin’s not the only one who’s been going to school this year. Brock also started his educational career as a pre-Kindergarten student at Rhodes Elementary. He absolutely loves it!! He comes home every day with a new song he has learned about the weather, a letter or a color. He has learned a lot!!! He loves eating breakfast at school, and riding the bus home with his friends. When he comes home, he teaches his brothers everything he has learned, including how to stand in a line and write on the chalkboard. He’s a very good teacher. He also does a very good impression of a robot.




Austin has had a rough year. In February, he was jumping on the bed when he flipped off and broke his left arm. After a few weeks in a cast, he was right back to jumping on beds again. More recently, he was in the bathtub when he slipped and knocked his front tooth out of place. The tooth is fine now, and has actually moved back into place, but he looked like a true hillbilly for a while after that incident. Austin is a very active two-year-old. He loves motorcycles and anything that moves fast. He could ride a merry-go-round at top speed or a high-flying swing for hours and giggle the whole time. He is definitely a little daredevil. We love our Austin.



Brandon is a sweetheart. He loves teddy bears, babies, pillows and anything soft. He also loves his big brother and his Daddy. He follows Brock everywhere and does whatever anyone asks of him. He also loves to wrestle and play outside. He is terrified of our cat.


I spend my days working on various projects at home with the kids. I still teach aerobics in the mornings and plan young women activities for Tuesday nights. I love spending time with family and friends. We have so many great friends and neighbors and family members nearby that there is hardly ever a dull moment. We have truly been blessed! Thank you for sharing your friendship with us. We love you and wish you a very happy holiday!!

P.S. A funny thing about the family picture: You can tell that Dad is a dentist because when we were posing for this photo, someone behind the photographer kept telling the kids to “show your teeth”. She was trying to get them to smile, but every son of a dentist knows that the best way to show your teeth is to say “ahhh”. That’s why you get a great view of Austin’s molars in this year’s family photo. Too funny!!
