Ninja Year 2015

2015 came and went like a ninja.

We hardly even knew it was here.

We spent the year recovering from 2014.

We spent the year acclimating to life with six kids.

We spent the year filling up our new house with kid-friendly furnishings.

We spent the year working, playing, eating, sleeping, laughing, crying and just living life.

Justin bought a boat, made lots of people smile with his mad dentist skills, served as scoutmaster, took the family wakesurfing every chance he got, kept his kids happy and his wife sane.

Bobbi nursed the baby, changed diapers, did laundry, occasionally cleaned the house, made bi-weekly trips to the new Sam's Club in town, did laundry, quit homeschooling, started homeschooling again, re-joined CrossFit and did lots of laundry.

Brock (13) earned straight A's in his first semester of online high school, produced several short films on YouTube, played a dwarf on stage in "The Hobbit", cheerfully completed his first semester of early morning Seminary, sang in the homeschool choir, swam on the summer swim team, started taking piano lessons, learned to wake surf and attended his first fancy Christmas ball.

Austin (11) bought a drone, perfected his chocolate chip cookie recipe, swam on the swim team, started piano lessons and learned to wake surf.

Brandon (11) held the baby more than anyone else in the family, logged over 1,000 hours in Lego construction, taught himself to finger-knit, sang in the homeschool choir, swam on the swim team, started piano lessons and learned to wake surf.

Eden (8) was baptized, started attending Activity Days at church, earned lots of ribbons on the summer swim team, sang in the homeschool choir, learned to knee board, started taking piano lessons and made a new best friend everywhere she went in 2015.

Kade (5) went to one month of Kindergarten before Mom missed him too much and decided to homeschool, started taking piano lessons, learned to knee board and tie his shoes. He is still the best snuggler with the best dance moves.

Lars (1) learned to scoot, crawl, then finally walk....sort of...for short distances anyway. He has natural rhythm and bounces to any beat, gives kisses, waves, claps, plays peek-a-boo and spins around in circles on his bottom. He is the most-loved baby in the world!

We hope that your Ninja year 2015 was merry and bright!

Thank you for being part of our lives!

Merry Christmas!

Love,
The Johnsons
