Rest in peace, little kitty. Your time on earth is done. Who knew your days were numbered from the time I brought you home from the Wal-Mart parking lot? In the end, you were just too much for the dog to resist. You were fluffy and soft, cuddly and cute. The little girls loved to chase you and pull your tail. We heard your final cries at midnight on a Tuesday. Your mangled, broken body lay limp outside our bedroom window. We knew you wouldn't make it. We couldn't just leave you there like that. The kids can never know how you died. They'd never understand that it was for the best. You're in a better place now, kitty. Far away from boxers and toddlers. You were a good little kitty, and we'll miss you.

We're going to have to replace our keyboard now that the keys are all drenched in tears. How sad.
