Highlights of April:

Kade's speed was no match for his socks.



Classical Conversations went medieval with oral reports on Robin Hood, Genghis Khan, Marco Polo and more.


Nephew Nicholas returned from his two-year church mission in Argentina. (And there was much rejoicing!)

 

Kade learned to write his name....over, and over, and over again.


Spring arrived!



Justin, Brock, Grandpa, Uncle Chris & Uncle Bryan took a trip to Moab for Easter Jeep Safari weekend.



Brock turned twelve in Moab.  When he returned home, we ate cake. (Cake courtesy of Grandma Johnson)



Brock was ordained a deacon in the Aaronic priesthood.  He makes his mama so proud.

 Soccer.  Lots and lots and lots of soccer.

 Easter eggs.

Grandma Morgan came to town in time for Niece McKenzi to received her temple endowment.  McKenzi will be leaving this summer for a mission to Ventura, California! 


Paint the People Color Run!
 

Brock earned the title of "Memory Master" in his Classical Conversations group by reciting from memory 161 events/people in a chronological timeline, 24 history sentences, 44 U.S. presidents, over 100 locations and geographic features in Europe, Asia and select parts of the world, 24 science facts, Latin verb endings, English grammar facts, multiplication facts and math formulas.  A lot of hard work went into that achievement!


Found two months' worth of chewed bubble gum underneath my 12-year-old's bed.  Not amused.


A visit by Uncle Paul & Aunt Nancy from Virginia resulted in an extreme yard makeover of awesomeness!


Jefferson City Ward Primary transformed the church parking lot into a map of the plan of salvation.
