Jackrabbit Capitol of Texas

The Good News Is....
WE FOUND A JOB!!!

IT'S IN ODESSA, TEXAS!!!

So, who really needs green grass or bodies of water to make a place liveable? Personally, I much prefer miles and miles of sagebrush and oil fields!

Here are some of the fun things I've learned about Odessa:

"The "World's Largest Jack Rabbit" has become an historical landmark in Odessa.

Oil was discovered here in 1926.

Odessa was once the home of President George W. Bush.

The University of Texas of the Permian Basin is in Odessa:

Odessa is very flat...

The wind is always blowing in Odessa:

High School Football is a really big deal in Odessa....I mean a REALLY big deal!!!

Odessa is the home of Permian Basin Smiles, where Justin will be partnering with Dr. John Hatten just as soon as we can find a place to live...

Available housing is really hard to find in Odessa...

So, there you have it. After touring the great state of Texas, we have decided to make west Texas our home. At first glance, it may just seem like a barren wasteland, but the streets are wide, the buildings are clean, the people are friendly, and the sunsets are beautiful! Not to mention there are about 360 days of sunshine a year!!! What a relief it is to finally know where we are headed!
