Johnsons in California, Day 3: Disney's California Adventure

Disney's California Adventure opened an hour later than Disneyland, so we had time to ride Space Mountain one more time before heading to the new park:

While the big kids were zooming through outer space, Grandma took Eden for a ride on Dumbo:



As we were leaving, the boys spotted the Sword in the Stone. As you can see, Brock REALLY wants to be king!!!


California Adventure was fun. We went to the Playhouse Disney show, the Muppet 3D Movie and played around in the Brother Bear play area.




It was pretty cool and cloudy outside, but the boys still convinced me to take them on the Grizzly Rapids ride where we all got SOAKED!!! We LOVED Soarin' over California, and had fun in the Bug's Life kiddie ride area. Brock was barely tall enough to go on California Screamin' and HE LOVED IT!!! He rode it twice....crazy, crazy kid.

Brandon was disappointed that he wasn't tall enough to ride. Austin, on the other hand, was quite content to ride King Triton's Carousel while Brock rode the crazy coaster.


Grandma took Eden home early, so after they left, Justin took a turn riding in the electric wheelchair. He claims he hurt his foot while playing at the beach, but I think he just wanted to get a good spot next to the Rivers of America for the Fantasmic show. Lucky for us, it worked!! At 9pm, we headed back to Disneyland and got up-front seats for Fantasmic before going home and CRASHING from over-exhausting fun!!!
